New Invention

This is what I posted on my "Living In The Information World" discussion forum today. The question was what would you like to see invented in the future. Most of my classmates said robots, talking computers, or cures. I was going to go for a 'cure,' but I got really bored reading their pedestrian ideas. I hope you enjoy my idea:

Today it was 120 in the shade at 2:00pm. Today's war has brought me to one of the hottest places in the world. The days are getting longer and the gear I wear, heavier. There is no end in sight. The potentional for future wars are also in hot locals. I sweat in places where I shouldn't. I sweat in places I didn't know existed. I sweat in places I wish I never had to sweat! The invention I wish...err...want...err...NEED, is a cooling/misting orb. This orb, much like my dual zone cooling system and ventilated seats in my Saab 9-5 Aero, would ensure the proper cabin, or uniform temperature. If needed, or requested, it would also ventilate me in any and all areas. Unlike my Saab, my orb would also have the ability to mist me with micro-blasts of energy-boosting water. This water can also be swapped out for vodka when not in uniform. If any of you can help me with this invention, let me know.

I'm glad you wrote today. I was starting to worry as I usually do when I don't hear from you. The place you are in, must be second to HELL. I would never want to be there. I am surprised you did not choose a cure for all cancers. However, your idea is really a great one. Maybe you should send it in to someone that could invent it.

I know I could have gone for a "cure." Maybe a time machine to not only cure cancer, but autism too...and it would make visiting you and the grandkids! That was too easy. Everyone was talking about stuff like that. My invention...an original thought, plus it has Vodka. Remember, right now my world is this: Wake up-HOT, go to sleep-HOT...plus noi booze! HA HA lol :)

Hey Chris! I haven't seen anything since I'm on maternity leave, but someone posted the promotion numbers on another site I frequent. It looks pretty good, if they're correct. Master is up 5%. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you (and for me and Eric).

Hope things are going well over there. We miss you and Russ (and Maj B and Capt Johnston).

When do you actually find out about Master Sgt?

A Teleport machine that takes you from one place to another in original & healthy condition with latitude/longitude destination. Then you would be able to teleport yourself out of those extreme conditions (w/o being AWOL) & travel easily. It would also have special options like: enlightenment or cancer free transport only.

Fingers crossed Cindy...and Eric! That would be awesome if you both make it. $$$

Prima-Time travel would be awesome! I like how you added enlightenment. You should add a mojito bar.

Roger says they have a mister and also cool paks you can wear under your arms over there already. Roger will get info for you and let you know if you can't get the answers there. He also says that if you run into any units that needs things such as hygine products etc. We have an organization right here in Az. and the kids also get involved in it to help out. According to Roger there is a comp. that makes the misters for the military but does not know who makes them. Says they are there but probably in short supply.

Chris, if you would like, maybe I can set up a deal with Russ Limbaugh or Sean Hanady who are well known talk hosts as you know. They support the troops in Iraq. It would be so cool if you could get on with them and talk about what is going on in Iraq as best you can. I would need contact numbers etc. and when the best time to reach you would be. They like talking to Americas Heros.
Take care of yourself

Hey Chris, I am glad your mom put your web site on her site. I have been asking for your emial address, but this will do. I haven't seen you in a long-long time, but pictures of your family work just as good. I pray for your safety daily, and maybe you should try inventing this orb thing. It is only 105* here and I would buy it! LOL! Please take care and duck! Try a rifle instead of your tri-pod. Still laugh when I think of you doing that. I picture it in my mind and giggle! Love you lots!
